This is a spectacular 4 day tour of coastal Western Australia. Around every bend will be another amazing view. The highlights are too numerous to list (read itinerary below), we are guessing two would be Monkey Mia and The Pinnacles!
Day 1 (Perth to Kalbarri) Depart Perth at around 7am. Head north towards Yanchep National Park see koalas, kangaroos, emus and birdlife. Along with the wildlife you may also experience the aboriginal culture at Balga Mia Village where a local Aboriginal guide will share their heritage, including boomerang throwing, tool-making or didgeridoo playing. Later stop at a honey farm and sample the local produce, before continuing through farming countryside, where you will see magnificent wildflowers (seasonal ). Have a swim or relax before lunch. See leaning wind-effected trees as we pass through the Greenough Flats. Visit the most unique sight of Western Australia and take the outstanding views of Pink Lake. Arrive at the Kalbarri Coastal Gorges for stunning ocean views, visit Red Bluff and the oyster beds. Overnight stay in Kalbarri
Day 2 (Kalbarri to Monkey Mia) Today we visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. – some of the most spectacular red river gorges along the Murchison River. and travel north to Shell Beach – made from billions of tiny shells and later proceed to Monkey Mia for your accommodation. Overnight in Monkey Mia
Day 3 (Monkey Mia to Kalbarri) This morning meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Then join any of the optional activities or just chill out on the beach or at the resort. Next we visit Eagle Bluff for spectacular ocean views. See sharks and other marine life feeding off the seagrass. We visit the breathing rock formations ‘Stromatolites’ before we settle in to our accommodation in Kalbarri township and watch the sunset overlooking the Murchison River.
Day 4 (Kalbarri – Pinnacles – Perth) We start the day with a visit to the amazing coastal cliff situated to the south of Kalbarri, Red Bluff along with the oyster beds before arriving in Geraldton. Next we proceed towards the impressive HMAS Sydney Memorial Lastly we visit the famous Nambung National Park – impressive Pinnacles Desert, enjoy a fully guided tour through these amazing limestone formations and drop in at the Discovery Centre, before we have lunch by the sea. Then kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch to Perth, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
OPTIONAL : White Sand-boarding at own pace before heading back to Perth.
