Agincourt Reef, located on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef, is one of the most pristine sites to dive or snorkel due to the clear waters. Divers can have up to 3 dives (drift & wall dives) or have your introductory diver here! Limited numbers so you get personalised service from our professional and experienced staff.
Designed for personalised dive and snorkel adventures, the modern 24 metre dive and snorkel catamaran Poseidon takes you into the marine wilderness of the pristine Agincourt ribbon reefs - clear outer reef waters, beautiful corals and incredible marine life diversity.
Catering for snorkellers and scuba divers, Poseidon departs from Port Douglas to visit three different and unique reef site environments. With a wide variety of Agincourt reef sites and a roaming permit, the skipper selects the best three sites of the day based on weather, tidal conditions and diversity of marine life. A separate dive tender is available to assist with drift and wall diving, making this a day well suited to experienced divers and snorkellers.
Divers can enjoy up to 3 dives (additional cost) while snorkellers can explore shallow lagoons and spectacular drop-offs. Reef interpretation and a marine biologist guided snorkel tour are included. Poseidon is accredited with Advanced Ecotourism Certification and also has a special permit allowing guests to swim with dwarf minke whales if encountered.
Along with the comforts aboard and an attentive crew, Poseidon offers an ideal setting to enjoy a day on the Great Barrier Reef.
Please note, the minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years. Certain medical conditions may preclude you from diving.
