Sydney Harbour is one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. The Sydney Opera House & the Sydney Harbour Bridge call the harbour home. VIVID Light Festival takes place each year for 23 days. The iconic sites and heritage buildings have installations & projections on them telling you a story. This year the dates for VIVID are 24th May until 15 June. Sydney is one of the most breathtaking cities in the world and over the 18 Day VIVID light Festival during 27 May to 18 June a spectacular, artistic light show transforms the Opera House and City buildings with inspirational and sensational immersive light installations and projections. It’s an amazing festival with the coal black night as the perfect backdrop to reflect many light installations across Sydney City.

The light show has grown in both creativity and popularity over the past 5 years and the focal point and crowd favourite of the light show are the projections on the iconic Opera House which is bathed in light and images creating a breathtaking sight which is best seen from the vantage point of the harbour waters on a Rhythmboat Cruise!

The VIVID light show is run by Destination NSW and NSW Tourism and has become a wonderful platform to promote our beautiful city and give both tourists and Sydney Siders alike a chance to see this City full of history, culture and art in a whole new light.

Our dinner cruise runs daily Monday to Sunday evenings and includes a delicious buffet, a dancefloor and popular Sydney DJ. There is also a bar where you can buy beers, a selection of wines, bubbles and non-alcoholic beverages. The VIVID cruise tour gives you a chance to see the pinnacle of the VIVID light show, the Opera House with its transforming light sails along with a view of the city skyline which will also be part of the VIVD show. The vessel will then cruise the harbour so you can take in many of Sydney’s other iconic sights such as Luna Park and the Sydney Harbour bridge, dropping you safely back to Darling Harbour.
