Join the ferry at Rottnest Island for the short ocean cruise to Rottnest Island. Once there you will explore the island's wild side from your purpose built adventure vessel.
Fremantle's B-Shed at Victoria Quay is the starting point for your Rottnest Island Adventure. Cruise in comfort across the short ocean crossing and arrive on the island ready for a day of adventure.
Your time on the island includes a 90 Minute Adventure Boat tour (check boarding information for scheduled time), which will operate from the Main Jetty in a purpose built, high-powered vessel the 'Eco Express' which will help you explore the island's wild side. This adventure is an exploration of Rottnest’s rugged coastline which is abundant in animal life. You may have close encounters with humpback whales (Sept-Nov), New Zealand fur seals, sea lions, dolphins and osprey while aboard! Together we'll complete a full circumnavigation (weather permitting) of Rottnest Island, offering passengers an unforgettable, entertaining and informative experience. The waters off Rottnest are teeming with wildlife!
Other than your 90minute cruise, your day is at your leisure to explore or relax as you see fit. The island has plenty to offer for all types of travellers. You might like to explore the settlement area and discover the history of the island and the colony that developed here. OR you may wish to catch one of the buses that run around the island to many of the out-of-the-way bays or beaches.
You also have the option of adding Bike Hire to your booking is you feel that you would like to explore the island with a relaxing bicycle ride. Just add this on on the booking form, when making your booking.
Of course, don't forget the Quokka's, the cute native species that are abundant here.
In the late afternoon, head back to Fremantle by ferry to bring your day to an end at around 5:00pm.
