This overnight tour gives a great all-round introduction to the beauty of the Daintree, Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation and so much more. Explore this ancient wonder via coach, river cruise and on foot over two amazing days.
• Stay in glorious accommodation overnight at either Pk’s Jungle Lodge, Ferntree Resort or Capetrib Beach House

With an early morning departure from Cairns at 8:00 am (pick ups from 7:10) or Port Douglas at 8:45 am, you’ll board a comfortable, air conditioned coach – after meeting your friendly and experienced Rainforest Guide – and head north to Mossman Gorge. Here, you’ll experience the wonder of this life-filled rainforest and have the opportunity for a cool swim in a clear stream before enjoying some morning tea.
Next, you’re in for a treat with a cable ferry ride across the magnificent Daintree River as you make your way to the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park. You’ll be awestruck by the majesty of the Daintree as you drive under ancient trees and spot wildlife in the thick undergrowth. Alexandra Range Lookout will reward you with views of the Daintree River, Port Douglas and other views south of Cairns. Then, you’ll experience more of the ancient rainforest with a walk at the Marrdja or Jindalba Boardwalks.
At around 1:30 pm, you’ll arrive at Cape Tribulation and be escorted to your accommodation at either Pk’s Jungle Lodge, Ferntree Resort or Capetrib Beach House. After a night enjoying your accommodations, you’ll have some free time before being collected at 1:30 pm to continue your tour.
Before travelling back towards the Daintree River, you’ll visit the Daintree Ice-Cream Company for some delicious tropical fruit ice cream. Then you’re in for another amazing treat with a wildlife-spotting cruise on the Daintree River. Spot estuarine crocodiles, tree snakes, pythons, water birds and a variety of other fascinating creatures before enjoying some afternoon tea. A visit to Port Douglas and Rex Range lookout will conclude your tour. You’ll arrive back in Cairns at about 6:30 pm.
