Hop on the iconic open-top double-decker 'Big Bus' to experience the fantastic scenery, landmarks and attractions of Sydney and Bondi Beach.

The 24 hour Hop On - Hop Off ticket allows you to plan your own itinerary and visit the landmarks and attractions at your own pace. You can even extend to a 48hr pass for a small add-on fee. Buses run frequently so rejoining the tour is easy!


The Sydney Big Bus route includes 23 stops, including Kings Cross, Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens, Hyde Park, Power House Museum, Sydney Fish Markets, Maritime Museum, Sydney Aquarium, Chinatown, The Rocks and Circular Quay. The stops are currently:

  3. Australian Museum Sydney/Bondi Tour Interchange - College & William St, beside Cook & Phillip Park

  5. Kings Cross - Darlinghurst Rd, outside Kings Cross train station
  6. El Alamein Fountain - Macleay St, opp El Alamein Fountain
  7. Woolloomooloo Bay - Cowper Wharf Rd, outside Woolloomooloo Hotel
  8. Sydney Opera House - Macquarie St, next to underpass
  9. Botanical Gardens (Scenic walk to Mrs Macquarie Chair) - Macquarie St, Crystal Place Gate
  10. State Library - Macquarie St, opp Hunter St
  11. Hyde Park - Prince Albert Rd
  12. Central Station Sydney/Bondi Tour Interchange - Pitt St, Bus Bay 18

Please note that the Bondi Beach Route is NOT available until 31 August 2020.
Three of the stops in the Sydney route interchange* with our Bondi Beach Route, allowing you to change buses and continue on our Bondi Beach circuit which includes an additional 7 stops. Major stops on this route include Centennial Parklands, Bondi Beach, North Bondi and Rose Bay.  The current stops are:

    A complete circuit of the Sydney sector takes 105mins and each Bondi sector takes 90 minutes not allowing for any stops which you wish to take (approximate and subject to traffic conditions).

    First Sydney tour starts at 8.30am. It departs from and finishes at Stop 1 - George St corner with Alfred St (opposite DFS Galleria), Circular Quay. The 105 minute circuit operates every 15-20 minutes (30mins Winter off-peak) throughout the day.
    ***Please note that only 3 departure times are available to 31 August 2020; 10am, 12pm and 2pm.***

    The first Bondi tour departs from Central Station (Pitt St, Bus Bay 18) at 9.30am and the 90 minute circuit operates every 30 minutes.

    Tours terminate at 7.30pm in peak season (6.30pm in Winter off peak).

    Child ages are 5 to 15 years. Children under 5 years travel free of charge. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Additional Information:

    You must carry a PRINTED copy of your Travel Voucher. Simply hand the voucher you receive from Tourstogo when you book to the driver at your first stop.

    Your Explorer ticket is valid from the time it is first presented to the driver - choose from either a 24 hour or 48 hour ticket.
